Travelling by road
Take the A711 from Dumfries into Dalbeattie. Continue along the A711 until you reach a set of traffic lights. Go through traffic lights over the bridge and turn first left sign posted Palnackie. Craignair Cottage is 50yards on the right hand side.
Travelling by Ferry
From Stranraer, take A75 to Castle Douglas. Follow the signs for Dalbeattie on the A745 until you reach a set of traffic lights. At traffic lights go straight across heading towards Palnackie. Craignair cottage can be found just 50 yards from lights on the right hand side.
